Stew Chicken with Dong Ch'ung Hsia Ts'ao
Ingredients
1/2 free range chicken,15 pcs of Cordyceps sinensis Sacc,5g medlar,1 scallion,1 ginger,2tbsp wine,proper salt
Methods
1.Rinse chicken,cut into pieces and then blanch in the boiling water.Rinse dong ch'ung hsia ts'ao and soak in the water for abt. 1 hour.Cut scallion into sections.Slice ginger.
2.Put chicken,herbage,scallion,ginger,rice wine,and water into a pot and then cook with high heat.After boiling,turn to low heat to cook for 2 hours.(Adding in slat depends on one's favor)
Efficiency
Nourish vitality,cure impotence,nocturnal emission and backache.
